FAQ Covid-19 tests

This is a nasal/throat swab test to detect the whether you have SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This test detects the RNA of coronavirus particles in the swab sample taken by our nurse. It will confirm whether you have coronavirus at the time of the test.

This is a nasal/throat swab test to detect the whether you have SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. It is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the detection of specific antigens of SARS-CoV-2 in the swab sample taken by our nurse.

This is a blood test to check whether you have developed antibodies to the SARS- CoV-2 coronavirus in your blood from a past infection or exposure.

Different countries require a certain type of test. Please read the UK Government website for further information on testing requirements for each country.

Please refer to the individual product descriptions for turnaround times but as a guide:

– PCR Tests take 10 minutes and we can have your result as early as midnight on the same day
– Rapid Antigen tests can be resulted within 30 minutes of taking the test
– Antibody tests take 10 minutes and resulted are provided the next day by midnight

Your results will be sent to you on the email address you provided to us. Please be sure to check your junk mail.

The safety of our staff and customers is our priority, and we have taken considerable steps to ensure our clinic is a safe and secure environment. The clinic is fully equipped with sanitizers, social distanced seating, reception screening and masks available for customers. Our trained staff wear PPE and surfaces, equipment and furniture are regularly cleaned with disinfectants. Although we take all the necessary actions to provide a safe facility, we cannot guarantee 0% spread of any virus during these unprecedented times. We kindly ask to bring your own mask if you have one. In addition, our healthcare staff are trained to carry out the tests.

FAQ Blood tests

Your choice of blood test should be based on one that is right for your symptoms, health or concerns. The details each of type of blood test can be seen on each product page where it explains all the biomarkers included. For those individuals who just want an overall health check, we would recommend the Well Man or Well Woman test which will cover the all the biomarkers for general health.

It’s very simple! Book your test online selecting the appropriate test for your needs. Come into the clinic at your booked time and our trained nurse will take your blood sample. Once we have your sample, this will be sent to the lab for processing where you will receive your results within 24-48 hours via email.

Your results will be sent to you on the email address you provided to us. Please be sure to check your junk mail.

All blood tests are processed by a UKAS accredited and Care Quality Commissioned (CQC) lab. The tests are as accurate as they are in any medical/healthcare facility.
